Very prolific Chesterfield independent, although actually finding any of their many games nowadays is a pretty tall order. This was the firm that famously used to take out full-page ads in Acorn User, only to fill them with hand-scrawled impressions of how their games looked on screen rather than real screen shots! Packaging was similarly uninspired - each game simply bearing the Kansas logo in a different colour. To be fair Pinball Arcade is a pretty durable piece of software, and remains the easiest Kansas game to trace.

Obviously one of Kansas' earlier attempts at text adventure writing, this has none of the interesting writings of the later games like Ferryman awaits, it is more like Dracula Island. The plot is threadbare, you have to find the ring that once belonged to the magician Zor.

Simple snake game, you have to move the snake around the screen collecting the stars. It's just like the games now popular on Nokia mobile phones. There isn't a lot more to the game than that, it's just text based really, but it plays ok.

Boring RPG/text adventure in which you have to find a crystal, its in mode 7, and is a bog standard move around the dungeon and kill things sort of game. Not worth playing, Kansas did far better than this themselves.

An overhead shoot-em-up, you control the plane, and have to bomb various targets, whilst dodging flak and fire from boats, tanks, etc. It is very hard to shoot anything, because the bombs take so long to drop, so you must fire them a long way in front of the target. It has nice graphics, but is ultimately annoying.
